the mascot at fat festival 2006

The Mascot is an interactive game designed for Fat Festival 2006 (one of the biggest music festivals in Thailand). This augmented-reality game that captures participants actions (trying to catch/hit the virtual Fat Festival mascot on the projection screen) and projects the real-time image on the left side of the screen–while the movie clips of the prior participants are randomly replayed on the right side of the screen.

The Mascot transforms the small empty space of the festival into a responsive playspace wthout any built elements (we just put few pieces of sticker on the floor). Please check two previous projects (Ahh… , Jump!!) in order to see how the ideas have been developed and explored.
